Interesting question. For a start, PR needn't be expensive and I've never viewed it as a luxury, rather a necessity. PR encompasses so many elements from traditional media liaison through to events, stunts and viral marketing so in my opinion it's the most cost effective communications solution which is surely what every businessn wants, even more so during a recession?
